I like to think I’m a bad neko, in the good since of the word. I’ve worked at clubs full of people, pushed through crowds at a concert; even now I’m looking into DJing for a club I’m helping a fried create.
I look like a real popular party going girl huh, I want to be. But under the flashing lights amongst all the nekos and tom cats strutting there stuff is when I am the most alone. But I’ve always wanted to be that girl, that hip girl who is everybody’s best friend. Who girls want to be and guys want to be with.
But deep down in my heart I know I’m meant to be set apart from the crowds who rock out to that clubber music and bang there heads to its rhythmic beats. I know I’m meant to be so innocent, a white light in a world of jaded things.
So give me my tatami floors, my rice paper walls, my little building table, and a TV full of pictures to remind me that you love me. I’m happier here, all alone, than I am in the crowded clubs. Because here I’m in touch with what’s really real.
And what’s really real is I love you, and I can feel it in this place amongst my few simple things. I’m happy. Though I’ll never be that girl I still feel like the center of attention when you notice me. Yet I’m sad to know I’ll never be that girl I admire, when I see you’re face inside my heart it no longer matters. After all in the course of life some dreams must be broken away so others can take flight. So here in the solace of my room one dream dies, but beautiful dreams will raise up- the dreams of you and I together. Dreams of all the things I hope someday there will be. So it’s alright, I smile now, forgetting my tears. Far away from the party, I close my eyes, I dream of you. And it’s all, just all right now. It alright now

CJ

The painted sea

One of my very dear friends, Kai, is now the okasan of the painted sea. I just spent the most wonderful evening at this peaceful little okiya with the talented kai as she entertained her guests and amazed the sweet shikomi named Pumpkin.
We enjoyed the graceful performance of tea and heard the kotos enchanting melody as we spoke quietly. Then Kai chan started her dance and we were still and silent as stones amazed at her talent. There was of course some silliness as tea was slurped and looks passed and the shamisen was played for us. Witch made me pervious so I tried to behave, as shamisen are made of cat skin! But I couldn’t help but burst out as one of the guests carefully placed a fish inside someone’s obi!
Then of course I had fish on the brain as kai read her poem and the world was still in amazement. Then with more tea slurps and looks a strange contest began. We each took turns dancing while the others tried to guess what it might mean, silly things like “trapped in a car” “fighting the hair brush” or “bug problems”.
In between amazement and giggles I took many photos and even some video hee hee, I stayed long into the night even when the guests had all gone. Overall I was amazed and charmed, but slightly jealous. I wish I were so graceful and maneki so successful… but I must try not to be jealous and look for ways we can help each other.
Kai chan says she wants the painted sea to be a place of Zen and living art, a place where all are welcome. As I sit here I can hear the fire crackle and the sounds of water moving nearby… the rest is silence. What is there her but Zen. Kai chan my dear friend you have created a stunning okiya. It feels like home…
*Sigh* ahhh so peaceful…. Wish I had a snack… Anyway congratulations Kai the kittens wish you the best of luck and success, may our okiyas be sisters as we are! Due to some glitch the sim where my home is was down when I logged in, so I was sent to a nearby location. It turned out to be a welcome area on the main land.
In the back of my mind I had a list of all the things I needed to do that day but much to my surprise it all quickly went out the window when I caught sight of the nearby road.
When I was younger in my second life I used to travel these roads for hours on end, enjoying the sights and meeting new people. I have fond memories of toddling along in my kimono behind my big sis as we explored Marketing Island and other sims.
So I felt drawn to just take to the road once more, to see where it would lead me. Up I traveled through snowy mountains, crossing bridges, down into green valleys and grassy plains. I saw towering skyscrapers and tiny farm houses, I fallowed that road across 7 sims at least in maybe 4 hours. I fallowed it until I reached the end.
Standing there, looking at the golden sun setting behind the hills, just standing there thinking of the journey I had taken. I thought of all the people I love, walking roads of there own. The long road of life, wich seems unending. And I remember as mountains got steep how tempted I was to fly over them. But if I did I missed so much of the sights and sounds I went on this journey to enjoy.
So in the tranquility of my moment at the end of this road I thought even when life gets tuff keep going, because at the end all those hard times just fade away and you’ll be left with the memory of an amazing journey.
I’ll leave you with one thought, where will you’re road lead you?

What's the deal

Hey, what’s the deal with ALT’s? I mean everybody’s got one right, or two! Or maybe more! Sempai kittyann has tons! 90% of SL’s population is ALTs and inactive accounts I’m sure. Are people unhappy with there lives, there friends?
People use SL to escape they think life’s rules don’t apply; I have been asked if I wanted to have intercourse right out of the blue in public no less! This doesn’t happen in the RL I know. Then when they get to tied down with relationships people create an ALT right?
Let’s face it there is no escape from life. Even SL becomes a part of life unless events and people here just don’t matter to you, in that case your coldhearted. These were my initial thoughts on ALTs when I began to discover how many people do have them. I felt like it was a hidden life, two lives neither knowing about the other. It made me wonder how well I knew the people I loved…
Then new light was shined upon this idea of ALTs, yes some people do keep secrets but I think most are giving themselves a chance to show a different side of there personality.
As a geiko I am knoloaeable, modest, adoring, funny, and down to earth. But I can’t deny, there is another side to me. But I always said I would never have a secret life.
ALTs are tricky things and so complex Why is life so damn complicated? I spend most of my time on the computer (God bless the internet!) or in a book where I learn of so many things.
Yes I’m still having a cultural romance with Japan, though who can say why. People ask me ‘why Japan?’ Why Japan!! Well the graceful kimono, the proud samurai, the rich history, the beautiful architecture and gardens, the technology, the art. The Anime (Japanese cartoons, there not just for kids) and that’s only naming a few!
Lately I’m studying the tea ceremony; the simple act of preparing tea from a powder called matcha in a simply decorated small room has so many deeper meanings. This ceremony of enjoying a quiet moment with friends reminds us that life is fragile and once a moment has passed it can never come again. It’s a lovely tradition.
I’ve also become a pro at the haiku, a Japanese poem where 5 syllables 7 then 5 syllabus again create a verse. A poem can contain many verses or just one.

I do hope you have
The very best Christmas
And a bright new year

I have written close to 30 haikus this year, somehow I just took to it and am looking to expand to the style of Tanka witch is a little harder. It consists of 5- 7- 5-7-7 syllables.
The New Year shines bright
Like the star that led the way
The first Christmas day
When Jesus came to the world
And washed my many sins away

It’s amazing how days turn to weeks then months then a Year, over the coarse of this year I have really made some lifelong friends thanks to the internet. I’ll continue to meet people and learn and grow for I know change is the only constant thing in our world. May you have a merry Christmas and a happy new year!

CJ

Wandering thoughts

Konniciwa minasan, well once again it’s been too long between writings. It seems like there has been a lot going on lately, and yet a hole lot of nothing at the same time. Well as I’m writing this it is now 4 AM. (Or at least that’s the time of the writing of the first draft post time may differ. Anyway)
My jumbled thoughts woke me from my sleep and began chasing one another around inside my head. Thoughts do not need sleep so they are unaware, in there joyful tormenting of me, that I do.
I love my career as a geiko, I love my sisters both those maneki and blue lotus. Okasan Mikido has been so kind to me and treats me as one of her own girls; she even let me join all the blue lotus groups so I can use the library and receive class notices. And I feel for her the same way I do for my own okasan.
I’m rely trying to advance my career as geisha, I strive to be the very best and joining blue lotus has helped that a lot. However I worry over my Maneki and her future. Living at BL is so amazing I love it there but maneki is so small I worry about our identity being lost. What I mean is, people will say “maneki, where is that?” Were an unknown to all but a tiny few and even they seem to dwindle.
I feel as though I am a woman working at the bellows, constantly pumping to keep the ironworks alive. I must not tire out! But things happening in shadows worry me still, things I can’t foresee haunt me.
Sempai Kittyann appears to have lost all interest in the kittens she claims to love, once she promised we would never perform without her now that’s all we do. I have come to not even expect her for I know I’ll be broken hearted if I do. I don’t know for sure what happened but I am afraid of loosening my sempai.
As for okasan and the others who were said to have been sisters, they are not heard from at all anymore. I miss them, why did they abandon us? Yet I love them. There is one sister however that remains true to me.
Oh my god Zene, when I feel I can’t breath and it seems hope is gone and I just want to fall to my knees and cry you give me life again. Not long ago Zene was out several weeks badly ill and in the hospital, when she returned to us something had changed in her.
Oh she’s still as pretty and delicate as a moriage cup, she’s still Zene. But there’s a strength there that wasn’t before, or at least hidden, and a courage unlike I have ever known of Zene. Perhaps she finality realizes how much she’s loved.
Zene and I are taking the okiya into our own hands, as she said we will be the sempais we will be the wisdom and strength! Though Sempai is still our leader and matters of importance are for her to decide but the fate of maneki rests with us.
Soon Zene will be geiko and in spring I’ll be maiko. I wait till spring because the cold dead of winter doesn’t fit and I would want any new sisters to be able to attend. Also my RL okasan, if I can teach her the program, witch I’m sure I will!
Yes our sights are set on finding new shikomi. I long for us to have more patrons also and a donna for either Zene or myself who would help support us all. But I don’t think any geiko in maneki has had a donna.
Matters of money are always concerning, the life of a geiko is not cheap even in SL but for maneki do the tips pour in? No. I have even tried to get a job in SL to help my okiya, and have had a few but they have failed. If only there was a salary for geiko so we can do that witch we love and still live.
I think I have expressed everything I had a mind to. Life is full of turmoil we must all strive and meditate daily on the prospect of peace. I challenge you all to try to make you’re world better, you can’t change others only yourself but by doing so you may discover the peace everyone longs for.

You’re Neko;
=^-^= MEW
CJ

So you want to be a Neko?

Mew Mew Minasan! Lately I’ve been visiting newbie centers in an effort to do what I can to help out. Sadly when you hang out with noobs everyone thinks you’re a noob too, but anyway helping out feels super great! And the noobs of today are far more educated than in earlier years because education is more widely available so kitten kudos to all the people who work so hard to help out!
Avatar customization is the most basic form of self expression. The Varity of different avatar styles is astounding, from huge dragons to tiny teddy bears (like my friend Phillip Gregory) so take time to look at you’re options.
But what am I saying “options” bah humbug being neko is the way to go right! After all this post is titled “so you want to be a neko” thus you should at least have some interest in nekohood! So lets get down to it, but first, I’m sure I have said this before but I highly recommend signing up for SL exchange and OnRez it makes shopping so much easier!
Alright in my mind there are 3 stages of nekoness stage 1 is the least neko but most likely least expensive, in stage one you’re primarily human but with some neko parts. This stage is great for those who just want to test the waters of nekoness and there are many ear and tail combos out there for free or very little money. If you are just experimenting buy cheaply, it would be a waist to buy expensive parts and then find being neko isn’t you’re thing. But stage one isn’t just for new nekos I stayed in stage one until recently so never feel that you have to move forward. Everyone is neko in there own way.
Level 2 is more advanced well made and scripted ears and tail are highly recommended along with a neko skin. You’re shape is still human but now you have the best in parts an accessories witch ups the nekoness level. Reilly level 2 could end up being the most expensive because there are a lot of options! Claws, whiskers, eyes, skins, collars and other accessories add to the nekoness but you’re accessories should reflect you’re personal neko attitude. You only have to be as neko as you want there are no rules.

Level 3 is the furry level and you can’t get much more neko than that, a furry is a completely animal AV and there are plenty of lions tigers and cheetahs in furry vendors. Furrys are very affordable too however you can’t customize them as much due to all the attachments it takes to make the AV look the way it does. There are even some very realistic furrys who walk on all fours, or very tiny furrys whatever! Furrys are a lot of fun but be careful you might get a little more lag thanks to so many prims.

But experts will agree that the most important weapon in a nekos artillery is attitude! So how does a neko act? Well nekos have just as varying personalities as humans so developing you’re attitude may seem like quite a task but the most important thing is to be yourself. I had a hard time developing my nekoality until I started spending time with other nekos and picked up on some of the things they do then gradually gained my own nekohood.

So you may be wondering, why am I writing to you about this? Well I got inspired while helping my samurai sempai Nat get her very first kitty ears and tail. I realized that I do have a lot of neko experience and I should share it right! So there you go, and let me just say that if any of the nekos out there need help or just want to mew at me send an Im E-mail or whatever! Also you can expect further writings on this topic so cheek back now and then!

=^-^= MEW
CJ

A year of fate and perfection

It’s hard to believe it’s been one year, one year since that full moonlit night when I first logged on. Is it fate, karma, dumb luck, or the hand of God that has brought me here? I can’t be sure but I feel each step I have taken has been guided.
Otherwise how would it have been possible for me to walk into maneki the first time just as Zene was? And I wouldn’t have found this adoring love for her, a love that grew to envelope the whole okiya.
Fates lead me to Kittyann who took me under her wing as a shikomi and now a minari and soon a maiko. Along this path, encouraged by my newfound family I spread my wings, seeing new places and making new friends!
I’ve been learning so much and I’m beginning to be known as the Haiku-o-matic thanks to my famous 4 verse haikus.
My samurai skills are improving under the loving and watchful eyes of my Sensei Rakka. I joined the miburo-Shinsengumi and met 2 very dear friends Nat and Miroku my sempais!
In one year I have a large family and good friends, a home, a career, and lots of love! It’s been a perfect year, I don’t know where fate will lead me next but I know things will only get better so long as I have my family’s love! Thank you for all those silly moments of play, quiet moments of soul searching, intense moments of combat, and joyous moments of bonding! I know that so long as we have each other there’s nothing we can’t do!
So I look back on this year of fate and perfection fondly but turn excitedly towards the horizon where an even brighter tomorrow awaits us!

=^-^= MEW

CJ

The Luck of Maneki!

MEW MEW Minasan! Oh I have been such a bad kitty, I haven’t written to you all in sooo long! But I’ve been a busy kitty yep yep, I joined Maneki in February and became a Shikomi! I’ve spent my time getting to know my sisters and the loyal patrons of our okiya.
I have developed my nekoneess a lot more as well! I now have a lovely cheetah skin from razorblade kittens, you won’t see me wearing my free skin anymore though it was cute. And awesome claws from GIANETTI so now I’m armed, watch out! Both of these products are amazing! You see people when you primarily live on freebie products like I do you can save you’re cash for sweet stuff like this! I mean c’mon this nekos wardrobe is 80% free or inexpensive stuff and I tend to think I always look good! Save you’re pennies guys and gals!
Witch brings me to another thought, There are a lot of neko stores out there some are big but not worth the hype some are small but provide great quality. Well I’ve been mulling over weather or not to take on the daunting task of visiting neko stores and reviewing them. I would only give my personal opinion but give shoppers a basic idea of what can be found at each shop. But before I could even think of starting such a task I need to know if such a thing would interest anyone. You see I’m afraid I’ve got no loyal readers because I never get any comments or feedback. If you’re interested in store reviews contact me in world, through my E-Mail, or leave a comment on this page!
In other news thanks to my wonderful Okiya family I’m no longer homeless, I have my own room right next to Zenafar’s in the skybox dorm and it’s so peaceful! So peaceful in fact that I have actually begun practicing my building and I have made some decent things! You’re thinking wow cool right, well hell ya wow this kittens always been all thumbs but now I’m able to make simple things! I think the secret to building is to find a quiet place and then just tinker and have fun till an idea hits.
I’m working on a paw print bean bag style chair and a bedroom set, once I get them looking good I might sell them on OnRez and SLexchange. I’ll let you know when that happens and you might get a chance to be a product tester! I might need people who can try out my products and give an honest review and as a reward you of course get to keep the product! But that’s a while off I want to make more furniture sets before I begin selling anything.
I’m working on making still poses too so far I’ve made a seiza (Japanese kneeling) pose and a neko style seiza. I hope to eventually make more complex furniture with custom poses, not just poses but animations so you’re not always still as you sit. If I can do that perhaps someday I’ll make my own AO! But that’s a while off too.
It seems like ever since I joined my new family my life has gotten better and better, My spirits have never been higher, I’m inspired to create and take pictures and have endless opportunity to do so, I’m so loved and supported in every way, it’s true that love is the root of all happiness! And I’ll do my best to do you proud my sisters! Check out my Maneki blog too minasan and enjoy the poems!
Special huggels to big sis Zen who’s becoming a Maiko this week! Luv ya Zen Chan!
MEW =^-^=
CJ

A Neko's Thoughts

Photobucket Album

Minasan! =^.^= MEW MEW! How have you all been? I know it’s been a while since I wrote but you’re neko has been so busy! RL has kept me chasseing my tail, I’ve been to busy to even take a cat nap so by the end of the day my paws are too tired to type a word! What have I been up to? Well I got a new computer and so a lot of my time has been spent transferring all my junk! For a Neko I’m quite the pack rat! X3
But now things are slowing down so I can fill you in on what I’ve been up to! The first thing you might notice minasan, is the lovely picture of yours truly in this post, click on it go ahead I’ll wait. =^-^= It leads to my photo bucket account where you can see a variety of different pictures I’ve taken or put together. I love taking snapshots and would love to do photo shoots professionally in SL! I love taking seneic pictures but do pretty well on profile pictures too; I always do all my own photography. Have a look; I will gladly take pictures for you if you’ll just pay the uploading fee. A tad bit extra for sushi would be nice too. X3
So, I thought I should tell you a bit more about myself and why I so love SL. I’m 23 years old and live in Iowa, I am currently unemployed and receive SSI due o the fact that I am legally blind. Don’t freak out now. I’m not totally blind I can see enough to have a daytime driver’s license but not enough to be considered sighted ok. Although I’m currently receiving SSI I hope to someday work for myself doing a variety of things, writing, drawing, perhaps photography and maybe more I’m not sure yet.
I have taken several non credit collage classes but when they became to expensive I had to stop. Since then however I have been spending time reading many a book on what interests me and continue to use my free time to learn all I can. I try to keep myself on a strict schedule just as though I was home schooling myself and I study many subjects. Painting, calligraphy, drawing, cooking, gardening, Japanese culture, computer programs ect, I also enjoy the works of J.R.R. Tolkin so I often read these just for fun.
I have many interests but somehow find time for them all as well as my many good friends. I have never really fit in with my generation so most of my friends are much older then I am, most have children who are already grown, some even with several grandchildren. My very best friend is my mom, and it’s ok if you think that’s corny but its true!
Well there’s one other thing you should know about me, although I love the grace, style, and peace of Japanese culture I’m not Buddhist, I’m a Christian. But don’t think I’m hard headed because of this, I know I am not the judge and I feel I have no right to tell you what you’re life should be. If I don’t accept you then why would my God accept me?
I will accept anyone’s choice of lifestyle despite my personal feelings because it’s not my place to say what is right or wrong okay. I hope that you will accept me in the same way, I’m not going to try to change you so don’t try to change me.
Okay the neko is done being serious now so to lighten the mood a little poem my friend Jun san helped me write.~
** fishey fishey in the brook come and bite upon my hook~
Mouse mousey in the hole come and be my sushi roll~** {{END}}
So why am I in a poetry kind of mood? Well I just attended a poetry reading at Maneki Neko Okiya (lucky cat tea house) it was the first okiya event I have ever attended and it was a lot of fun! Maneki is the only neko okiya so it’s a great place to meet other nekos and furrys, humans are welcome too though. The style of the tea house is very different from the traditional okiya, it has a very urban grunge feeling too it witch is very popular with most nekos.
My friend Zenfar Jun San is a Maiko (geisha in training) at Maneki and entertained the guests at the event by playing a variety of traditional instruments and reciting haiku, telling jokes, and I hear she also tells great stories too. There was also a geisha visiting from another tea house and she was nice enough to dance for us, it was all very calming and I left that night with a head full of exciting thoughts and lovely poems. I can’t wait to go again!
I found out that there are a lot of Okiyas in SL and I do want to see them all and attend events but maneki will stay my favorite. Wow its gone fast but has been great too!
This year I have gone through some trials said goodbye to some good friends but felt the joys of starting over again.
I look back at a girl named Tala Tiara, she had a great job at a restaurant called Sublime, had a close knit group of friends that were more like family, and enough cool stuff to cause a sim crash lol why she even had a patch of land. But you know what, she wasn’t happy… her friends were busy with there lives, her job became a chore, she could barely make rent, and she found most of her time on SL was spent alone. She was more than just burnt out… she was done.
In April she said her last goodbyes she wanted to start over! So as you know in June I was born and although I don’t have 5000 inventory items or a place to call home I find I’m much happier as a hobo then I ever was before! And ever since then I’ve been trying to break out of my shy shell and make new friends and go new places and HAVE FUN!
Ok enough looking back. So far on my adventure called SL I’ve done a lot of things but have barely scratched the surface of what’s possible! I’ve gone horseback riding witch is most enjoyable, the horse is an attachment so you can ride anywhere and boy do the noobs ooh an ahh LOL! Though go out and get a free wheelchair and you’ll get the same reaction X3! I’ve enjoyed bikeing too on my freebee bicycle, skydiving’s a thrill, dueling like samurai of old is challenging but oh so exiting, walking through gardens at sunset or sitting on a beach mewing at the moon, and of course shopping or just wandering about aimlessly it’s all awesome!
But more than the places to go it’s the friends we make that truly makes SL awesome, its one thing to sit alone and do nothing but bring a friend an even camping’s a party! My best friend has always been Phillip Gregory, one tuff teddy who in my mind is a genius in his free time but I probably think that because I can’t build or script more than a pose ball lol! I don’t get to chat with Phillip often because he’s mainly on late at night when he can’t sleep, but never the less he’s like a brother to me! Although I do have other friends none are as close to me as Phillip.
He’s a great builder as I said but now he’s gone into fashion for mini Aves and I’ve seen his work it’s amazing, to visit his shop or the Tower an awesome place to hang out look me up in world and see my profile picks. Never overlook that part of someone profile or you’ll miss out on seeing some amazing places!
And now’s the time to discuss the future, as for this blog and my short term SL life I plan to continue to leave my paw prints all over the map and tell you all about it, there’s SO MUCH out there to see!! But as for long term well someday I hope to buy a large bit of land, hopefully an island and create a paradise for the people of SL free from the commercialism that’s found everywhere. At the center of the island a small hub offering freebees and info and some sort of telaporter to take you to all the different attractions. First off a great beach where you can lounge or splash about, forest covered paths to bike or ride horseback, lots of neat themed places to hang out like a camp along the trail or a coffee house near the hub but not only that hidden places too like behind a waterfall ect. Lots of different terrains and buildings to explore and hang out in that will feel like home. Not to mention skyboxes for perhaps a romantic moment alone. And maybe a small club where people can dance and skydiving! More than anything a place you can freely explore where there’s no place you’re not allowed, except maybe a little spot for my personal home.
I don’t know if I could ever pull off this idea or if I could ever afford it but wouldn’t it be neat. The only thing that would be hard would be naming the island LOL! Well I think the possibilities of having my own island any time soon are really slim but maybe someday, till then I will keep discovering what’s out there and gathering new ideas.
But for now I’m just a hobo kitty wandering about and LOVEIN’ IT! So there you go a look back and a dream for the future now all that’s left is my new year’s resolution… hmm My AV doesn’t need to loose weight so… what then? Ah ha I have it, I vow in the next year I will make more friends than ever before but more than that I vow to get to know people personally so there more than just a name on a list!
I’ll be the BEST neko I can BE!!

Happy New Year
MEW =^-^=
CJ

CJ's wandering the web!

MEW MEW MINASAN!! (Japanese for everyone) It’s you’re favorite neko back again, today I want to chat about some of the other bogs and sites out there related to SL. But before we get to that I have a little tip to help us all! Yippy! Ok so who hasn’t wanted to get rid of that typeity type type animation that occurs when you chat, I remember when I fist chatted I was like…’cool’ but now… ‘UGH!’ right! Well I was scampering around on the SL website and found ‘the tip of they day’ so thanks to Torley Linden I can tell you how to turn off this animation WOOT! =^^= Ok first you have to access the client menu to do that hit ctrl alt d, or Opt ctrl d on a Mac. Ok then slide on down near the bottom of that menu and choose debug settings then just type in PlayTypeingAnim. I’ll I had to do was type P and wala lol anyway almost done. Ok now just change the true to false and TAA DAA no more typing!! So now you never have to interrupt music or whatever yippy right-o! THANKS TORLEY!
Oook now on to my true business, I enjoy helping people and wanted to just jot down a few good tips for new residents and frankly I had the whole darn thing written out but then I began looking at other blogs. Mine seems so simple so modest… frankly I got down hearted and almost gave up this blog. I don’t have a fancy site but you know what I’m doing my best dang it!
So, I decided I would shorten my tips tidbit and highlight some of those awesome sites! Anyway before we get to that I would just like to say if you do enjoy my blog I would love to hear from you!
And now some quick tips-
NEVER overlook freebies you can rely find a lot of good stuff!
A lot of people seem to think there’s nothing worth exploring on the SL website but that’s not true ‘the tip of the day’ rocks as well as all the guides and tons more!
Take the time to carefully and neatly sort you're inventory it can rely help, in the system folders I create sub folders and try to sit down and organize at least once a month!
Use the search including the one in inventory you can find what you’re looking for or just find something to do!
MOST OF ALL have fun if you’re friendly and obey the rules SL is a lot more enjoyable for all of us!
So those are just a few humble tips I’m sure most of us know these but reminders are sometimes necessary. SL is always growing and there are constantly more and more people logging on so there’s no reason to be bored and lonely ok! Join groups, visit places, and just say hi to everyone you meet! That is my most important tip of all and one I need to remember!

Alright the fallowing is a list of awesome SL blogs I’ve seen that I just HAVE to show you, c’mon folks give ‘em there PROPS!! And hey if you think your site deserves mention my doors open and I’ll gladly check it out!

ON TO THE SITES!

lindenlifestyles.com
This is an amazing site dedicated to fashion and great deals! The site is run by Sabrina Doolittle and Salome Strangelove two wonderful gals who are long time friends. They review products and inform us all of great deals!

secondslog.blogspot.com
Another great site written by a hole crowd of folks on different subjects and goings on in SL, from news and what LL is doing to how people party down!

secondlifeinsider.com
Wow this is another amazing site I haven’t fully explored it but from what I can see it’s extensive, hell it practically goes on forever and covers anything imaginable! I hope to get a better look at it soon!

slnatalia.blogspot.com
Now folks this is a woman who knows what shes talking about! YEA HUN this is Kitties #1!!!

OK so those are the blogs I hope you check them out and I hope to have more to add soon! I’m very interested in feedback and although my humble blog might not cover any big issues I still hope to get the word out about SL and some of the amazing people and places!
Anyway we’ve all noticed the popular picks indicated by a thumbs up on the map right? Well I’ve realized I haven’t been to any of them so I was thinking I ought to check some of them out. I know a lot of them are not places a decent kitty should go, after all im not the nude beach type. BUT there not all bad so I plan to do a little looking around and give a basic report of what’s found there. Since I’m not on SL constantly this may take a bit of time but when completed it should at least make for good reading!

Well that’s it, the end, y’all come back now ya hear! Lol
MEW =^-^=
CJ

On the night of a full moon

Hello, my name is Celena Jewell & I live in the amazing world of Second Life!
